does anyone know of a fast bit torrent link of mandrake 9.10 or what ever the newest one is????

i hope that this is not breaking forum gidelines becasue it is just asking for a link of a free prog because the ftp sites are way to slow

I suppose I am unapproiately barging in... but what is Bit Torrent? I've heard many talking about this app and I just got no clue what it is...

  3. Its kinda a p2p app but its different. You click on a link in the internet (special link to torrent files) and you download it.. I think you upload at the same time something but Im not sure about that.

instead of sitting here trying to find a torrent, he could just download from the FTP's.

By the time he finds one (if they even have another one) he could have finished it through the normal way.

That's true. There are so many mirrors, at least one of them has gotta be fast. ;)

If you use something like Getright, then you could download from multiple FTP accounts at once.

That would make it very fast.

No point bothering with a torrent when it's FTP mirrored all over the place.
Tiesto has it right, just go to the MD site and get it :)

    Or have some mirrors...

    Mandrake Torrents

You can go here: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/torrent/ for Mandrake 10.0 and 10.1 torrents. Here http://www.levien.com/mandrake9.1.torrent is a Mandrake 9.10 torrent. Finally, if you haven't tried Linspire (formerly Lindows [until microsoft raised cain]), then you can get a FREE copy (legally). Although it isn't Mandrake Linux, it's still fun and easy to use (it's basically Debian with GUI). I am having a blast with it. Simply go to: http://www.linspire.com and add the $49.95 Linspire 4.5 Digital Download Only to your shopping cart. You may be able to do so simply by clicking here: https://shop.linspire.com/shopping/cartProcessor.php?addItem[0][sku]=DDXXXUSRLNOS40&addItem[0][fulfillment]=digital then click on the APPLY COUPON BUTTON and enter lindows as the coupon code, click the UPDATE BUTTON to apply the coupon, and then click the CONTINUE BUTTON, then proceed with checkout to get your FREE COPY of Linspire 4.5. It is worth the price (FREE). Hope this helps - Robert
Just Noticed the shopping cart link didn't take properly but if you copy and paste the following into your address bar, it should work:
