I reverse on them. I start selling them a product, and they most of the time get so caught up in my product that they forget they have to sell me stuff
OMG, that's a good one. About as good as what one person did, when a telemarketer was trying to sell their dialup Internet and kept insisting it was so much faster... The person had cable Internet, and kept playing them for their own stupidity at computers, and then called them out on it.
"So, you are saying that it is 3 times faster. My cable service is 5 Mbps, so you're dialup has to be 15 Mbps, or it's false advertizing and I could call the authorities."
"Yes, it's 56. Many people can't believe how fast our dialup is."
This was the first time they heard it was dialup, and the telemarketing didn't know the difference between Kbps and Mbps
It carried on for awhile, before the person asked to speak with their manager and suggested they learn more about their product before trying to sell it. At this time, the person also announced themselves as a network engineer.
The guy at the other end of the phone was yelling mad ad libs for a couple minutes before composing himself and "thank you for you're interest in our product"
