beeping code for new mobo

  1. Does anyone know the the beep code for P4 pc and mobo? does the beep same as old version motherboard? I cant tell you bios details. when i turn on my pc it beep and I also cant c the monitor detail

    the beep is 2 -8-(stop for 1 sec then )- 2-1

    Download the 'bios agent' (small). It will tell you what bios you have & other details.

    You need the bios manufacturer to find the beep codes.

    check to see if the video card is seated.
     
  11. It is seated properly, just is I remove the ram turn on pc, no sound, when put the ram back that sound came out again!

    then it is a bad stick of ram, or incompatible with your mobo.

    maybe you installed the RAM incorrectly, it happend to me. I though I had a bad stick of RAM but then I took it out then put it back in and everything worked. :)
     
  14. I just brought new one, now I brought 256 kingston ddram pc3200 better brand. same thing happen got beep code!
    wat wrong with my comp ?
