want to know the basic diferences in these OS......the most known diferences.......thanks
Make ya mind up.
well, the basic differences are different from the most known differences, and there's a difference right there, isn't it...I mean, that's different, just to ask such a question, which would evoke different answers, from different people...do you think differently then me?,,,not to be different or anything
you need to be in safe mode to log into administrator, you can't log onto a domain, you do not have gpedit...a coupla other security things, but it's the same os, with the same performance...I've been using home since xp was first relesed...I have pro, and am reluctant to even install it...home has become my home
dealer what do you mean by home not having regedit?
ha...my bad...gpedit...I'll fix
one difference that i know of is that Pro can use dual processors where home can only see one.
Pro lets you encrypt files (if the file system is NTFS).
One is spelt H O M E the other is spelt P R O F E S S I O N A L that's basic
in other words, if your a "newbie", go with home, but if your top noce computer wize or what a more powerfull/secured system, then go with Pro
thanks for every one that really Helped............
now, now,...everybody helped...we like to have fun here, ant amusing ourselfs helps the thread along...it makes lreading FUN
