sorry speedy... wasn't clear..iit's just a virus definition, the scanner will update from the native server

Ah, i gets ya.
I knew AVG was an Anti-Vius thinger, but as I say I don't use it so i didn't know it was auto-grab rather than hop onto a site

Might be something wrong with it. Mine can't find an update. The last one for me was 21/01.
