I am wondering if there is a free program out there that I can sure I can enter the URL of a website, and it will download images over a certain size or resolution.
If you're using Firebird there's an extension called SpiderZilla. Check it out on www.texturizer.net/firebird.
If you want a standalone app that can do this, look at something like HTTrack, on which SpiderZilla is based.
Slight issue... I just get the login page because the website requires me to login to see the pictures (its a forum.) Any way I can make the program use my cookies?
Hmm...haven't actually used HTTrack in the recent past. Not sure how to workaround this issue.
Maybe someone else might have the solution, or could direct you to an alternative.
