    I dled a program a little while ago that allows one to bypass the logon screen when booting winxp... I use tweak UI and set auto logon but it keeps dropping the setting for whatever reason...

    the little app I dl'ed allowed me to bypass logon and I would love to get my hands on the app again...

    :)

    if anyone can link me up I would greatly appreciate it...

    You can do it without third-party software. :)

    Start>Run>control userpasswords2
    Uncheck the "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer" check box, and hit Apply.
    Then enter the username and password you want to use for the automatic login.

    All set. Let me know if it works.

    Right. Just for reference:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]

    Add the following String values:
    "ForceAutoLogon" = 1
    "AutoAdminLogon" = 1
    "DontDisplayLastUserName" = 0
    "DefaultUserName" = username
    "DefaultPassword" = password
    "DefaultDomainName" = only required for domains.
