My laptop is running Windows XP Pro and has an ATI 3D Rage LT Pro Video card. Under Control panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager an error is flagged in the Sound, Video and Games Controllers. I am informed that the ATI WDM Bt829 Video is unable to load.

The driver is Microsoft Windows hardware Compatibility Publisher and is digitally signed.

    Any ideas?

I got no help from ATI.

Go to the manufacturer on this. Most laptops take proprietary drivers, so you'll need to download it from them.
