Hey everyone
From the title you can see what motherboard i have, MP3-IN feature allows you to use your computers sound system, in my case a creative inspire 5.1 speaker set on an xi-fi soundcard while the computer is turned off. The device is setup in the system and has a single port on the back of the computer for it so there can be no mistakes. I Have placed the green cable into that and the other end into my Apple universal dock to which my iPOD classic 80gb is connected. Supposidly now when the system is off and the speakers are on the iPOD can use the 5.1 speakers for output of music. I have never got this feature to work with any device let alone the iPOD. Anyone else have any luck with this feature? do i have to use the inbuit soundcard to take charge of this? I dunno if that would make a difference as the computer would be off.
Any help would be great!
Thank you
Steven
