No. The A7V266-E uses the VIA KT266A North Bridge chip which fixed some bugs in memory access that the VIA KT266 chip exhibited. The A7V266 used the KT266 chip. I've been running WinXP pro on the A7V266-E for about a year. It is highly recommended. I would avoid the A7V266 since it exhibited memory performance problems based on issues that the KT266 had. The part about RAID is correct, although it is configurable.
