    hi there,

i have the motherboard above and was wondering what is the highest cpu i can put it. It is 2years old so i doubt that it will work on the Barton core. I went to the Asus webpage and it says 550~1.4Ghz, but i am currently using the 1800+ so im like =\....can i safely presume it will work on any of the palomino cpus? which is about the 2400+?

    need help guys...

    thx

doubt it mate as the barton core runs at 333mhz, and your chipset has a 266mhz top end so stick with the throughbread cores :)
