    Hi guys/girls,
I was thinking of moding my case, so I pointed my browser at:

    http://www.bluefiremods.8m.com/

Even though I use the built-in XP firewall plus Norton Personal Firewall, on the page in front of me I could see and access all of my HD's!!!!!!!!
How the hell the manage that!!!! If you choose to scan, it actually reads the files on your machine!!!
    Anybody know anything about this.

    Don't worry.

It inserts a cookie and runs internet explorer in a window on the site. Only you can see it, when I open it, I see mine, etc.

It's meant to scare silly people ;) :D

Ha, I didn't see anything in the 4 box's... and I made sure it was finished too (it said "Done" in the lower left corner of IE)...

I don't even use any firewall software, maybe my kickass router?

first box is for first hard drive, second box is for second hard drive/CD-ROM drive, so on, and so forth

besides, I think it just calls for them... here's the source I picked up from there code

    Code:
    <IFRAME FRAMEBORDER=2 ALIGN=CENTER width=250 HEIGHT=150 SCROLLING=YES SRC="C:\"></IFRAME></font>
    <IFRAME FRAMEBORDER=2 ALIGN=CENTER width=250 HEIGHT=150 SCROLLING=YES SRC="D:\"></IFRAME><p>
    <IFRAME FRAMEBORDER=2 ALIGN=CENTER width=250 HEIGHT=150 SCROLLING=YES SRC="E:\"></IFRAME>
    <IFRAME FRAMEBORDER=2 ALIGN=CENTER width=250 HEIGHT=150 SCROLLING=YES SRC="F:\"></IFRAME></p>

Nothing dangerous guys! :) Just a trick. Oh, and if you don't get anything it's not the router blocking, it's not the firewall, it's just not working for some reason. Mine doesn't pick up anything either btw (no clue why).

    Pheww!!!

:) Thanks guys, I fell much better now.
Since yersterday I have been going bonkers, I tried all Trojan scanners and nothing showed up except for PC Door Guard, it said that Sintf32.ddl and Sintfnt.dll were infected. Checked on another machine, which is not on the net, and the same thing happened how I don't know as they can't be any Trojan or Virus on it as is a standalone PC. Anyway I'm glad is only a trick but why is it that on some people won't show??? It makes me feel that I'm crying wolf, if you know what I mean, I thought it would have been useful info to us all if there was any danger.
    Anyway thanks again.

If you want some more piece of mind goto http://www.grc.com and goto the Sheilds Up test and Probe your Ports, that will show you what is open.

Also I tried it and didnt work, I have SP1, but I also said No to all of the plugin security warning things asking to be installed.

    You Might be right!!!!
No SP1 Installed, and as you know it DID show on my pc.

PS Checked my pc is 100% Stealth mode on ports.
Shields also 100% and there is no sign of leakage either.
