    Thought id open up a thread where people state the names and use of all the applications you use. I am not counting games or programs like: flash, WMP, Quicktime, etc, programs that everyone has.


    Here is my list:

    Ahead Nero Vision------ Used for converting and making DVD's and dvd menus

    ASUS PC Probe--------- Measures my system temps and other info
    Audacity--------------- Audio Editing program
    Azureus---------------- Bittorrent client
    BootSkin--------------- Change my boot picture
    CloneCD---------------- Another cd burning program
    Daemon Tools----------- Used for mounting ISO's and Bin files onto a virtual cd rom.
    Dreamweaver----------- Noob Webpage making program
    DVD Decrypter---------- "Backing up" my dvds
    DVD Identifier----------- Tells the brand of dvd media you have
    DVD Shrink-------------- "Backing up" my dvds
    Emule------------------- P2P
    EVEREST Home Edition--- Tells mucho info about your system
    IsoBuster---------------- Does something with ISOs i dont remember :)

    Microsoft Office---------- I am not sure what this is
    mIRC-------------------- A program used to get things
    Mobile PhoneTools-------- Uploading my own wallpapers and ringtones to my cell phone
    Move on Boot------------ Deletes files windows locks and wont let you delete
    NetLimiter---------------- Monitors and allows you to throttle your bandwidth per EXE
    Norton Ghost------------ No explination necessary
    Nortons Antivirus-------- No explination necessary
    o&o Professional Defrag---Defrag program
    Photoshop CS-------------Manipulating photos.
    VLC-----------------------Video player
    VNC-----------------------Remote Desktop program
    WinISO--------------------used to make ISOs od CD's
    Winrar-------------------- Wimilar to winzip
    Winwall------------------- Change my windows wallpaper with 1 click from my fodler of 1200 wallpapers.
    WeahterBug-------------- gives me the weather.

    For all intents and purposes, it is an all encompassing application within which other applications can run. Therefore since it is a program with a user interface, technically it can be called an application.
