I'm on a network with two computers. This one is the main one and most powerful.

2GhZ intel, 1GB ram, etc.. other one is 800MhZ celeron, 256MB ram

Downloading on this comp goes a lot slower then on the other one. Any ideas why? The other one gets really high speeds of over 200 and 300 on same sites where this one gets maybe 50.... why?

More info please. Connection type, are you running ICS or something else?

It shouldn't be a difference as I see it. Right now I don't have any ideas.

    Connection is Calbe

I have no idea what ICS is :) But this computer has a lot more stuff installed on it. Fairly good shape, I clean out the garbage such as spyware, etc..

ICS is Internet Connection Sharing. The WinXP builtin routing software.
