I was just wondering, is it just me, or is the system really "buggy?"
it keeps telling me that for SOME files that the RPM header is messed up...
and refuses to install of course.
And for MOST times, the up2date program freezes almost every time I try to download the packages from them...
not to mention the "install" part of it freezes sometimes as well.
I was also wondering if I could add "channels" it looks in, like a mirror..
and whether I could turn off the "download source" option... (or if I can access that part of config again..)
(will I have to download the source when I download kernel from them to recompile it, or is the one from CD sufficient? - even tho it's different version and it doesnt make sense?)
lastly, any alternatives to updating than the up2date?
I'm not very familiar with the console, but if you give me what to do, I can do it?
