I purchased an HP Pavilion zv5330us laptop and when I got it home I realized it had no inputs for my Creative Inspire 5200 5.1 speakers. I did some searching and came across the Creative SOUND BLASTER AUDIGY 2 NXSB0300 EXTERNAL USB SOUND SYSTEM DOLBY 7.1. Does anyone have any experience with this? If I bought this...I would be able to use my 5.1 speakers right?

Does your notebook have a headphone jack? If it does, you can use that as the output.

If you would like 5.1, an external usb box would be your best bet.
