Don't quote me on this..but if my memory serves me correctly, I think I remember reading somewhere in my web wanderings that SB live sound cards can have conflicts in Windows XP.
Hope this might be of some help.... maybe try a "google" search such as "SB Live + Win XP"

Thanx 4 the reply Hipster but there is something, either in my current OS or on my XP Pro CD that is preventing me from copying the CD to a folder. I can manually transfer (copy) everything except that subfolder "WIN9XMIG" of the "I386" folder.

Office sp2 has just about shot my system to bits and it does not come with an un-install function.... I'm just waiting for the official XP Pro SP1 1106 or whatever, then a rebuild and leave office sp2 on the shelf where it belongs. Just ms using us for guinee pigs again.
