Is there a way to shut down services from dos?
I need to shut down fast user swiching to access my machine from work but all I have to work with is dos :(

I had a 128mb mp3 player. It broke. I think its because I dropped it, but anyway mp3 players seem to be very flimsy and I don't like that! So thats why I bought an netMD because it has bit of weight and body :rolleyes:
I was the 1% :p Tryed doing that and fixboot. Said it was unfixable! Bought myself a new HD (which I needed anyway) and installed a Xp on it. Shoved my other drive in as a slave and when xp booted up it noticed it ran scandisk and fixed it. It was pretty ****ed I think it took a few scandisks...

Its gone now, I ran adaware and I think that killed it. Its on my mates computer so I need to look at it when he gets back from school. He does not have any firewall or virus protection so his computer is a mess!

I get this error message when entering windows, saying that it is trying to find a file called system32.exe at C:/windows/system32/system32.exe.
From the research I have done it is not a windows file and it was a virus. It seems to be trying to run it on statup but it is not in the statup...
