Recommended Games?

splinter cell is amazing but too short, vice city is also amazing (doesn't need gta3 to run btw) and is probably your best bet at this point, you will be able to play this game for a long time, download new maps/cars/skins etc, it offers a lot of cusyomization, but it depends what games you are into, what genre?

Action:
Star Trek Elite Forces Hit store shelves yesterday (in the US anyway). It's on the old Q3 engine again, but heavily modified and it looks pretty darn good. It's two full CD's and the single play is suppose to last about 1.5 times as long as the original.
Will Rock came out a week or so ago and is pretty much a "Serious Sam" clone. It's OK and priced lower than most. Just a lot of massive ammo wasting and killing. I like Serious Sam better though).
The NWN expansion pack (RPG) also just hit shelves yesterday.
Hmmm... not much else I can think of.
Personally, I'm replaying Mafia (much better than GTA:VC).
I've you never played Mafia (a year old now?) it has much better graphics that Vice City and a movie like story and movie like fight scene setups.
Vice City would be a good choice though. I haven't finished it yet - but I'm close. There is SOOOO.. much to do (bikes, cars, heli's, etc). It's a good investment for how much gameplay you get.

Oh forgot .... MGS2 sucks. (hehehe).
Seriously, if you like watching a movie instead of playing a game - then MGS2 is for you.

Yeah....Mafia is a good game.
If you're looking for a online first person shooter, Raven Shield is good.
It's also good as a single player too.
But I would say....vice city...I really want that game.
Kinda poor right now though.

I'm playing Gothic 2 right now (great if you like RPG's), and I can honestly say its one of the best games I've ever played

The only category of game that you can play over and over and over again without boring yourself stupid is strategy. Once first person shooters or sims or 3rd person adventures etc are finished you might as well throw them out. So for value for money I'm recommending Rise of Nations or one of the other Microsoft strategies.

Finally got GTA Vice City for the PC Then ste?.. have to see if someone can make a mod and we can play online or somethin
Command and Conquer Generals is really good too.. good on a Geforce 2 MX 400 without running slow either

I been playing nascar racing 2003 season and Battlefield 1942 with the Desert Combat Mod. Theres tons of game play in bf i recommend it highly, as for nascar its a sim if your into it its cool but setups can be tough be i enjoy that type of thing, ita all what ya like.

Battlefield 1942 is a really kool game to play.. the final mission annoys me sooo much.. lol
i can never take over the island.. the last time i tried.. the score just before i lost was 1-1 i was soooooo close to getting it.. might try again soon i think.. really really good game!
