XP + winproxy v4.00??? HELP

I have set up a small network which shares an ADSL internet connection via winproxy 4.0. initially all PCs were 98 and everything worked fine.

then...
I put My XP PRO machine on the network.

I can't see a web site unless someone has been on it from one of the 98 machines first.


the server is a celeron 600, 256Mb ram, running 98 and winproxy 4.0. IP - 192.168.0.1

My system is an AMD duron 700, 640Mb Ram, Kingston KNE100TX network card, running XP pro. IP - 192.168.0.9

all other systems are 98, and vary from p166 - p3 800.

Any ideas ppl, as this gets VERY annoying.

just in case ne 1 reads the above post, neva mind, sorted it with a re-install of winproxy.
