I am unable to get the welcome screen on xp. It asks me to press Ctrl-Alt-Del to log in.

I have tried to change the setting in the user accounts but all I get is an error message saying that a recently installed program has disabled the welcome screen and fast user switching.

I haven't installed anything recently so I don't know why it has changed!!

I'm sure this has been mentioned before on the forums but I cannot for the life of me find it.

It is now sorted thankfully, just a little registry entry needed changing.

I think an earlier version of PCAnywhere used to cause this problem.
Good thing I don't use it anymore...VNC rocks :D

In my recent efforts in trying VNC it locks up my computer for some reason I never figured it out so I use PcAnywhere 10.5 which I've had zero problems with.

Any idea why I'm locking up with VNC?

Also can't use PcAnywhere with my friend who is using Zoomtown (DSL) simply because of the way they wire their networks but Road Runner (Cable) works fine. DSL to DSL doesn't work Cable to DSL doesn't work DSL to Cable works and Cable to Cable works. I think its weired and sucks at the same time.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
