Ok, I have a search bar that I use in my taskbar. On restart it blocks the program from loading because there is a active X script in it.acocciated with. Is there anyway to allow this specific active X application without allowing all active X content?

As far as I recall, I had to install ActiveX for each piece of software that required it. i.e. Windows update and McAfee.
You can manage the add-ons for Windows IE through Tools>Manage Add-ons.

Ok, I did what you siad but I couldn't find it listed anywhere. Here is a screenshot of what I am talking about in case I am explaining it wrong.

What does it show if you right-click on the warning in the taskbar?

Should have an option to install the active X control when you do that.

Yea, I can right-click and allow it with no problems, but I am tired of having to do that every time I boot/reboot my machine. There has to be a way to allow this program while maintaing the protection against others.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
