XP Shutdown Error

It doesn't happen all the time but most of the time when I shutdown i get a pop up with this error dwwin.exe error fail to utlize and something else, along the lines of that. I've read all the windows xp troubleshooting tips at http://www.aumha.org/a/shtdwnxpz.htm but i cannot find any problem that relate to mine.

ati radeon 8500 retail
256 ddr ram
western digital 40 gig ata 100 7200 rpm
quatum fireball 6 gig 5200rpm

"Something else - along the lines of that" isn't helpful. Need to know the exact and complet error message in order to help.

Knowing what dwwin.exe is would help too.
