xp reboots on shutdown

everytime i shut down my computer,it closes down in the correct manner,but then automatically reboots,so i have to turn the power off.Ive had xp installed since it first was released,the only thing ive recently installed is gp4 can anybody help please

Thanks for your help friends,Iceman and lonman,looks like easy cd creator could be the problem,so ill check it out,if not youve pointed me to where i can sort out the probs,Thanks
 
easy cd was the problem,downloaded the patch from roxio,now it shut down properly,once again thanks
