Is it possible to change hardware in winxp pro without reinstalling winxp? i think it has a checksum of some sort and i cannot change my hardware or else it wouldn't run...
i just wanted to know before i try to change new hardware (changing video card)

Just un-install all drivers then remove the old card, put the new card in, install new drivers for new vid card and away you go!

Changing the video card won't cause any problems. Go for it. I've done it a couple of times, and it works. Just do what Skazzy said. :)

He popped into IRC, I said it would be recommended to achieve maximum performance from your new gfx card that u reinstall, but it would not be required and not be noticebly different if he were to reinstall, unless he forgot to uninstall the originals...

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
