xp pro clean install

hi, i have a dumb question here,

when i try to do a clean instal of xp, i cant becuase it wont boot from the cd, is it always like this, or do i have to just upgrade from 2000, thanks

Bit strange how it won't boot from the CD?
Have you accessed the bios and made sure the Cdrom is booting before the HDD?

If you are still having problems you can download a bootdisk that will load Cdrom drivers and execute the setup program from here:
