We have three machines in our network. One running XP pro, one XP home and one win98se. The pro machine is our 'server' and on it we have a program that the other machines need to see the data for. The way the program works we create a network drive f: and the program grabs the info that way. Win98se has no problem with it, but the XPhome computer to get it to access the f: drive you need to go into my computer and double click on f: to access the drive, close it then run the program. Typing f:\ in Start-Run does not work. XPhome can quite happily use the XPpro's internet connection share with no problem. We all have passwords so any ideas.
Let me know what info you need and I'll try my best to supply it.
