P.S. i'm sure that not what u mean but...

well basically somone i know has bought a PC from pcworld and it came with XP Home and they are having problems adding the computer as a workstation to the windows 2000 server domain. If they where using XP Pro i am pretty sure this wouldnt be an issue

You cannot run XP-home as a client to a Windows 2000 domain or .net domain. Home has the limitation of no Domain membership, and a single processor.

I would upgrade to Professional if you need to add it to a network.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
