XP Folder Customization Problem!!!

Please help...
My video folder does not have the video tasks
My D:\ drive has picture tasks

all the wrong folders have music tasks... why is this so messed up?

How can I fix it?

Try open a folder and goto Tools and folder options. In General and view, try to restore defaults. Try it see if it restore to original.

I also have the same problem and have been unable to come up with a solution. I have multiple users on the machine, and the problem only seems to occur under my settings (default user). All other users have the appropriate tasks in the My Music and My Pictures folders. However, the C: and D: drives all show up with the Picture Tasks sidebar. Will continue to post if a solution is found.

Right click the folder, go to customize, then choose which folder type best suits the contents.

you can't customize the my pictures, my music, or the root drives.

Try changing your security settings on your drive and the changing your folder options....That worked for me.
