XP Firewall

Hi
A friend of mine has asked me about the XP Firewall's advanced settings. I dont use it as I have Norton's Firewall so can anybody help answer her question, or does she need to tick these boxes, you would think it would tell you to do that in the help section on the windows website but there is no mention of that.

her questions is.

on the firewall settings,
advanced tab, which boxes should be ticked( done the POP3, STMP, Http)?

None of them.

You only tick those boxes if you run that service locally and want people to be able to access it from the internet.
