XP Firewall Question

How do I disable the firewall in Windows XP Pro? AOL is fussing that I have to disable it to get AOL to work again. I have a friend posting because I cannot access the site myself. He does not know how to navigate this site well.

Start->Settings->Network Connections

Right click your connection, select properties, go to the advanced tab and uncheck the box for the firewall. Apply changes and reconnect.

Dump AOL, of all the ISP problems I have to look at AOL is top of the list by an order of magnitude, because they have gone their own way and ignored the industry standards. They will be on version 250 by the end of 2003.

Any other ISP "ANY" would be better.
