yeah good point madmatt - would be hoping to get that done in future - shouldn't actually be too hard as the multiple theme engine is set in.. just need to make sperate folders with same image names in the images folder...
Yeah... i agree with yah... .css files would be pretty sweet.. as they're quite easy to theme... would also help with keeping server balanced... but again.. thing is... if yah look around popular sites now... majority of them have image sets and things for forums... neowin is the only one i can think off the top of my head which is partially .css based... which they have managed to work for them. We are looking for a unique design... different to others.. maybe in future.. once we have established our own personalized look... which ppl will recognize us by... we'll do something like that... shouldn't be too long from now

Right... the original idea of a complete theme change came from the main man.. waddy... hes even paying a pretty benny (buck for you americans) for it... I might have whispered in this ear a couple of times that our current theme isn't doing us any justice... especially forums (I dont have anything against you EP.. just imho - i know majority of you like it) - The actual portal looks pretty coool.. but way too much like neowin/other virtuanews sites.. we want to break away from that.. need a unique design... also my guess that waddy's main intention for a new theme and more professional design is so he doesn't have to continuing paying out his own pocket... so we get some sponsors interested... at the moment... there is no hope of a decent sponsor... we need to do all we can do get one behind the site...
basically what i'm trying to say is that we are going nowhere anytime soon if we stay with current theme/design... thats the solid truth of this site...
I know i'm gonna probably get shot by saying all that... I accept that many of you like the current theme design... look at sites like
