got this mail earlier,

I have a 20.4 gig ATA Seagate Hard drive and in Bios and through Win98 both read as 20.4 but (here where it get weird) in WinXP and partition magic it thinks it an 8.4 gig and I cannot seem to figure out why, anyone here have any ideas? Thanks

Can't figure out why he's stuck. I know it's not a BIOS issue, Win98 sees the whole HD, why can't XP?

Could it be a cluster size the in FAT32?

Thanks,

Heeter

Check to see how Disk Management views it, perhaps post a screenshot?

Just out of curiosity is the version of Partition Magic he's using compatible with windows xp? I know earlier versions aren't.

I thinkThat he said 8.0

will check,

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
