xp crashing with turbo tax

hi - i am no guru but have been computering for many yrs - windows xp - no games - no viruses according to norton & grisoft - however, system crashing every time i get so far with 2006 turbo tax - i do not know what to do - get message from microsoft to send crash analysis but now get message that i cannot even do that - after long message - "application not found" help!!thank you

Look in the Event Viewer (eventvwr.msc from Run) and post any errors related to Turbo Tax 2006.

Delete all the events then launch your app and the error logged should be what you want.

You can delete the events by right-clicking on the category name (application, security or system) then choose clear all events.
