x64 - do you really have to have 4gb ram

or can you run it on less? is there any issues? been running 32bit for my server and have noticed that it is slower then when i had it as 64bit, i would like that performance back as 32bit seems sluggish

we are in the linux/bsd area here mind , and from what i have been reading there is no reason you cant use x64 with less than 4gb ram, so will wait and see till i have researched a bit more

you can use as much or as little ram as you want with x64 until you run into kernel caps if any.
