hello there....new to Xteq X-Setup and I was trying to rename the Recycle Bin. Problem is it doesn`t change it!
How come?
I`ve didn`t find anything on the subject in their forums and for some reason I can`t post a message either.

Some one knows the answer?

Thanks

Is the tweak definately for your windows version? Some are 9x or NT specific.

If you're using XP then try using the attachment then right click > rename.
(If it doesnt work, then i've attached the wrong file, sorry  )

open regedit and find the key
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08 -00AA002F954E}\ShellFolder.

Select this, on the right there's a binary value called Attributes. Rightclick it, 'modify'.

Instead of 40 01 00 20 it should read 50 01 00 20 to have a 'rename' option. In XP, you'll also need to edit the dword string called "CallForAttributes" there. Set it to 0x00000000 (0)

Found this on the forums some time back. :)

Thanks a lto for the replies....I just wanted to see if anybody else was using X-Setup and had the same problem!

Anyway...thanks!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
