Word being a pain in the ass

Everytime i start to type a letter in word and need to edit it everytime i go back to the word i want to edit it always deletes a letter everytime i type one. Anyway to stop this happening?

Try pressing the insert key

You have the INSERT function on your keyboard enabled. Press the INSERT key one time and the problem should go away.

i just save it and re-open the file, then everything works fine. as for why it happens.. i have no idea, another microsoft product.

lol, ever bothered looking down on the screen where you well usually see what's on and off, if you see the word "Insert" in black text, press the Insert button (or dubble click on the thing that says "Insert" and you should see it go to a grayes color

Actually I believe it says "OVR" not "Insert".
