wmp10 distortion

i am using mp10 and whenever i adjust the brightness the bottom half of the video gets distorted (turns red, pink and other colors). the only way i can fix it is to restart the video. i have k-lite codec pack installed. could that be the problem?

i use klite and works fine but do a unistall and then get the lates klite codec pack. then try again.

Reinstall the codecs. Mine corrupted the other day, making some types of vids go all kindz of crazy colors. Uninstall from Add/Remove, reinstall. See if that does it.

I stick with Winamp for most media playback. Load is lite - not as bulky as WM
