I was stupid enough to try the new Windows Media Player. NOTHING PLAYS IN IT NOW. Is there a way to remove this bad update? I have to uninstall and get this crap out of my computer. I cannot play any WMA files. Please help. Thanks

Manually set the file types to use WMP. Hold down shift and right-click a WMA then select OPEN WITH... and select media player from the list ensuring the box to always use this option is ticked. Messy I know but it works.

Alternatively you can go to the WMA in the file types listing and delete it and copy the settings from another PC to make it identical.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
