WLM Sound Problem

Alright, well I know I have been asking a lot of questions lately, but...

I have been using WLM for awhile (msn before) and using A-Patch to modify it.

I noticed that sometimes...when someone talks, it flashes and makes the noise...which its suppose too, but now it only does that sometimes..

it chooses when it wants too.

Is this a known problem, something else effecting it, or what...

some people have said it could be my soundcard, but nothing else has problems...
