Wirless DSL Gateway Router trouble

I am trying to hook up my computer and my mom’s computer to a wireless gateway router. I have my computer hooked right in to the router and my moms computer is wireless. My computer can connect to the internet and brows the internet just fine. My mom’s computer on the other hands says it’s connected to the network but I can’t find it on the network and she can’t find my computer on the network. She also can't brows the internet every time I open IE I get the default page saying check internet connection. Any idea what is wrong? We are both using Windows XP pro.

well i got tired of working on it so i loaded on some programs and restarted the computer and now it works. soooo who knows whats up but everything is fine now.

easiest way to hook everything up is to go through the XP network setup wizard.

but you fixed it so it doesn't matter.
