Hi all.

I've been hearing and reading a lot about security on wireless networks and I have a few questions.
I have a D-Link DI514 on a cable modem, WinXP Pro SP2 on all my machines. My main computer is wired, two pc's and a notebook wireless. I live in a rural subdivision with neighbors approx. 150 to 200 feet away on either side, should I really be worried about security on my network ? By the time the signal travels through my house (1800 square feet)there shouldn't be much strength left to it right ?
I bought the router refurbished with no manual and the online manual isn't very explicit so if need be, can you suggest a good site for me to gather info on protecting my network ?

Not a problem :)

While that article may be a little out of date, you may want to try to setup WPA2 security on your network if your router supports it.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
