Good Evening all,

Just need help with this, gonna purchase 4 x these:HERE

Ok, to share a connection with 3 other computers will these be ok? they are all within 20 meters of eachother, there is one machine with 98 the dial up server, 2 with win xp and one with ME this will be ok yea? just in ad-hoc, I won't need a access point or nothing?

Ad-hoc should work afaik but I've never done it myself. Also are you sure you want USB adapters? Wouldn't it be much better to buy wireless PCI cards instead?

i have installed a few of those cards, there good, and not too expensive, they dont like metal though, had 1 pc working fine until they moved a metal rack near it, not in line of sight, but that damn thing wouldnt work at all....
