I know this is ntfs.org, not ext3 org (lol) but could anyone point me in the direction of a winzip type program for mandrake 9.0? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know that there is a GUI frontend for gzip shipped with Mandrake 9.0, but I am too lazy to startup from my Mandrake 9.0 disk, so I am not sure. I always use gzip (via the terminal)

GnoZip appears to be installed (by default) on my Mandrake 9.0..

...but requires Gnome to be ran as well.

can't you just use "unzip" from the command line ?

i could unzip from the command line but wanted something with a gui. isnt a gui almost everybodys best friend?

Nope :D A Gui is nice, but I prefer to use the command line more when using Linux/BSD.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
