Remember in win98 you could copy the win98 folder to your hard drive so windows didn't require you to insert the win98 CD when it was needed - and that of all the junk that was in the folder all you had to copy was the .cab files. I was wondering what in the winXp I386 folder is essential to be copied to the HD. At present I've copied the entire file, but if only key files are needed I would rather just have those. Or for that matter if I wanted to do a similar thing as in win98 want do I need to place on the HD? - just the I386 folder, parts of theat folder only or other things altogether. Thnaks in advance for any help with this.
