WinXP ( Home ) & Diskeerer Pro v 8.0 - Difficulties to Shut Down

After defraging - Diskeerer Pro v 8.0 - NOT ALWAYS !!! -
DIFFICULTIES to Re-Start or Shut Off the PC.

In some cases I'm forced to "WARM BOOT " the computer ...

The followong ERRORS are shown in " EVENT VIEWER "

in the Application section

ERROR # 1

EXPLANATIONH TEXT
Unable to open the Redirector Service. Redirector performence data will not be returned .
Error Code Return is in data Dword 0

ERROR #2

EXPLANATIONH TEXT
Unable to open the Server Service. Server performence data will not be returned .
Error Code Return is in data Dword 0

I have some Services turned to " manual " but never before expirienced any difficulties ...

this exctrlst.exe tool is for Win 2000 and for WinXP???

I've downloaded & installed now the EXCTRLS.EXE BUT !!!!
I dont know how /where
" And disable the appropiate performace counts (perfnet) "
could you please guide me by providing "STEP BY SEP " instructions ???

for the firsy time the " EVENT VIEWER " does't show the 2 PerNet ERRORS
This " HOW TO " might be usefull for other poor soules who have similar problems .. - Might be a good idea to POST YOUR TIP somewhere on the site
