I went through the forum quickly and I don't think I've seen a post regarding this issue. If there was one, I'm sorry!

Ok now then....
I was running maintenance on my computer (which I haven't done in 2months)
did the routine, disk cleanup and cleared other junk out of my harddrive, and attempted to run disk defrag.

After the first 2mins or so, the computer stalls.
At first I thought it was lag (running xp2200, msikt4 with 1gigddr400) so i went out for a bit (a few hours) came back, and the computer was still frozen.

I attempted to run disk defrag 2 different itmes after a reboot (damn i havent seen the boot screen in months) and yet the problem still exists.

Any suggestions, solutions would help greatly
=)

Attempted safe mode, yet no solution to the problem...
I'll figure out something
thanks to the both of you.

Probably won't help with XP's defrag prog, but you could try finding a different defrag program to run. (as XP's built in defragging has always been very slow anyway)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
