i have a DFI LanParty NFII ultra board, Asus Geforce4 Ti4200 tried a few nforce2 drivers and geforce drivers i get crashes, freezes, got a blue screen once and more often than not, the "freeze" seems to be USB related the mouse cursor disappears or i just can't use the mouse the last time it crashed, everything locked up and the computer let out a continuous "beeeeeeeep" windows xp sp1 with updates i have NONE of these problems in linux. anyideas on what could be wrong or any one else have problems like this?

thanks in advance,
moooo

Did you install the windows chipset drivers that came with the MB into the Windows boot partition? Linux would have a different set than windows.

i guess it would really be a boot problem, i played with it for 2 hours last night, but some times it can just be a few minutes.

i tried the drivers that came with the mobo (which i suspect are just older reference drivers) and the newest reference drivers
and i have a gut feeling that it's the geforce4 and/or geforce drivers or some kind of combination between them and the nforce drivers

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
