Since I installed a Bluetooth Adapter on my laptop running Windows XP (Home) I am having trouble starting and shutting down. On starting up it freezes just passed the Windows XP screen - I have to switch off and on and from the screen that appears select the last known configeration option and then most times it boots ok. All is then fine until I shut down windows it then freezes at the shutting down screen and I have to switch off manually.
I have all the latest XP updates+ SP1 installed.
Hope this makes sence!!!
Please advise - many thanks.

one word: drivers.
Windows XP (even with SP1) is known to have troubles with bluetooth related devices. There is nothing more to do than to wait for driver updates for your adapter.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
