windows update

Ok here is my problem I upgraded to windows xp pro corporate edition. And so far i like it alot probems is it wont let me update it.
It tells me i must be logged in as administrator . Problem is iam administrator in computer. also says in message that problem might also be in network and an not have the authoritity. Not like i really need to update but it would be nice any help would be great. Not running network on my system as far as i know though i did try to hook up to my other computer to pull and send files please help thanks.

Go back to the windows update site and Under 'See Also' go to the Windows update catalog. There you can dowload the updates and install them from your computer instead of having Windows Update scan your machine.
